If you have few hours of stopover in the capital of the “Land of Fire”, make the most of your time exploring so old and so contemporary Baku. Baku layover tour will introduce you new town with recent architectures, squares and fountains and old town where you will visit historical sights: Maiden Tower, Shah's (king) Palace, Caravanserai on the Silk Road, etc. A traditional meal will make the picture of Baku full and round up the tour.

Day 1
Our guide and driver will meet you at Baku International Airport. Transfer to Baku for sightseeing tour. Baku layover tour starts with a visit to Memory Alley – “Shehidler Khiyabany”, from where you can have a great panoramic view of Baku city. Continue touring new Baku and exploring architecture of 19-20th centuries: Nizami Street, Fountain Square, Nizami Ganjavi monument, Rasul-Zade Street, and move to the old part of the city – Icheri Sheher. Visit Maiden Tower, Shirvan Shahs’ Palace, Caravanserai and market square with numerous art studios and souvenir stalls. An excellent round-up to the city tour will be lunch at traditional Azeri restaurant. You will then be transferred back to the airport with a short stop on the way at natural miracle Yanardag Mountain with natural gas burning for several thousands of years. Drop off at the airport.

The program usually takes 4-5 hours, but can easily be customized upon your request.
